Subject: great diverse show
This is a great download of a group that has defined its own special sound . I can do without the crowd screamers at times but it is live. I would recommend the 9/15/06 & 9/16/06 downloads from Mexacali Blues cafe. They are the best recordings I have found of AOD on this site. The clarity of the individual instruments is fantastic and the Band was really hot & tight. It is as good as any studio recording !!!!

I am admittedly quite the AOD newbie! I have always listened to them and liked their sound, but recently something just clicked! It is shows like this one that truly capture what the band and their groove are all about! I am lovin every minute of it!

Subject: Great Show
For a long time I've been a devoted listener to the New Year's 2004 shows, but lately I've been listening to the three shows that wrapped up 06. Man, these shows are so awesome! The music is great, the jams are super, the energy level is high.

I'm a newbie to AOD. See 'em once @ the Independent in San Fran, and seeing them again tommorow. Needed an AOD refreshed, so I ended up here. This show re-affirms my excitement about this band. Good times.
