Subject: Kick back...
Kick back with your headphones, nice hot cup of joe(or beverage of your choice)and catch a nice little buzz(of your choice..lol) and watch some absolutely breathtaking scenery and audio. High Quality stuff. This is why the archive is quite possibly the greatest site on the net. You are never bored with the archive..always something to see. I can never make up my mind what I want to watch because there is so much to choose from. Enjoy this nice piece of relaxation.

Subject: Even more
Another hour of fantastic scenes bringing sub-aquatic silence to my screen and to my awareness. The sea needs our help in defending its beauty from the destructive forces. The sea is the source and these films help a lot in making this point.
But it took me a while to find out that there are 7 more hours of Aqualounge available. Why is that?

Subject: even better than the first!
It just keeps getting better and better! This is amazing footage, and a great soundtrack.

Thank you for creating this!

Subject: Diver's Choice
In my opinion Aqualounge is an absolute unique project, following the footsteps of pioneers like Prof. Hans Hass or Jacques-Yves-Cousteau in bringing pictures back up from the depth of the ocean and documenting the tremendous beauty that is hidden beneath the surface and revealed only to a small number of us. In freely sharing the precious moments that one single Aqualounge-camera-diver has captured over the years, this project surpasses the ideas of the pioneers by far. With oceans in deep trouble it is more important than ever that as many minds as possible understand, what we are about to loose.
The extensive material of Aqualounge is edited in long sequences, away from today guideline: the faster, the better. Much more homogeneous the editor let the screenplay be directed by nature itself. In sometimes longer and sometimes shorter scenes every film seems to be like a good dive should be: A flow in which one does not know what there will be to see; some animals will disappear within seconds upon sighting, others are going to give deep insights in their lifes, but there is always something interesting and / or beautiful waiting around the next corner - every single shot a proof of what godÃÂôs nature is capable of.

Aqualounge two - the second hour - goes on with observing interaction between divers and marine-life. A subtle dance in the dark with a curious squid starts this chapter, disguising octopus and unimpressed rays follow. The camera observes a group of divers being rounded by a very interested grouper, an evasive turtle, clown-fish defending their anemone and a cleaner-fish servicing a diver. The interaction-chapter ends with a large group of notorious Barracudas floating by in peace and harmony as if they wanted to belie the blood-thirsty image that was given to them.
The picture-flow then turns to the tiny architects of the largest built structures on earth - the corals. Wonderful scenes reveal the alien landscapes of the macro-world in microscopic details and in great long-shots.
Finally the second hour of the film ends with a colourful overview of the reef's inhabitants.
In deed worth the extensive download!

Subject: Thanks for the feedback
to the members of the diving-community:
there were disturbances due to too much enthusiastic feedback - feel free to leave your thoughts in the guestbook of our homepage.

there were over 2000 visits on aqualounges web-page in 24 hours - thanks for all the feedback, thanks for the cheers, the appreciation and for the critic aswell (little more constructive would be helpful).

of course i like the film, because it was in deed a lot of work - knowing how much i have to give it five stars, sorry (this is the second of eight hours in this series and we plan to do another eight hours until 2005). all parts are already shown on events and will be downloadable one by one.

a short version of the eight hours compressed into 90 minutes is going to be available AFTER christmas.

aqualounge is a media-experiment and tries to bring the water and itÃÂôs ecology closer to the viewer by letting the pictures do their job and it looks promising.
thanks a lot for watching, thinking about and reviewing it at http:www.aqualounge.de.vu

Subject: Dry-diving
DIVERS ! AQUANAUTS ! SEAMEN !
The second part of Aqualounge seems to be especially made for us, in order to enjoy our object of love, while on land, away from the sea or in dry-dock.
I watched it first time on a 24-hrs-deko-chamber-ride (both parts four times!)
ItÃÂôs nothing special and that makes it special.
Just fish, reefs and dolphins in the flow.
First part only some diving, second part lots of it. Enjoy, relax - donÃÂôt worry: you are going to be back in the water soon!

Subject: taucher.net
I read about it in taucher-net. I like it very, very much, but it takes so long to download.

Subject: Better
More time underwater. Recreational diving. Very relaxing. Very slow. ThatÃÂôs why divers dive instead of playing golf or chess.
But still the size of the files and the music make me sick! (see also my review of part1)

Subject: Aqualounge 2 even better
Looks like someone had lots of really good dives. Come to Australia - get more (Sharks_Dive_Shop@hotmail.com)!
More great shots, good editing. ItÃÂôs also long, I admit (2of8hrs?!), but itÃÂôs perfect for us to show it to our students - specially to the fearful ones. We like it and donÃÂôt understand, why pictures of nature trigger such a controversy in the reviews - specially in todayÃÂôs world. Better discuss politics!
It's a 5, but for still not shooting in Australia itÃÂôs 1 down!

See, this is what You get for giving something free. I am very interested in Your work. You should ask Yourselves, if Your talents are wasted - reviews most definitely are.
Known Artists and unknown critics can contact me:

marine_views@hotmail.com

(I have an answer from aqualounge already, but I am still waiting for the critics - jealous and chicken?)

ItÃÂôs a five-star, but you loose one for the download-environment.

Subject: BORING!
Aside from the film makers several five star reviews hyping this yawn fest so no one can see the apparent real reviews, I think this film would make a good insomnia cure. Having said that, The whole concept seems a bit lame. Here's an idea aqualung team... STOP WASTING EVERYONES TIME WITH YOUR RIDICULOUS SELF GRATIFYING REVIEWS AND POORLY MADE MOVIE!

Reviewer: Xtra4U - [5.0 out of 5 stars] - November 6, 2004
Subject: Fabulous (continued from part 1)
I have to correct myself: Anything below 7 stars is not enough. ItÃÂôs a great piece of art, as the film says: ItÃÂôs done by nature.

I love it.

Subject: Double Fantastic
The 2nd part is different - canÃÂôt tell better or not. But it is fantastic and if you donÃÂôt like it, must be something wrong with you

Reviewer: The known Director - [5.0 out of 5 stars] - November 6, 2004
Subject: Dive now, criticize later
This is much better than videos of burning fire-sites or beach-sunsets. Watch and enjoy the flow. There is nothing to be ashamed of, if you feel disorientation or dizzyness - you might not be waterproof! But I read somewhere, there will be eight more parts, with these two that makes ten. So if you have a sensible stomach, better stay clear of this area, unknown whatever. (You really joined under a fake name just for this. ThatÃÂôs poor!)

Reviewer: Pescalero - [5.0 out of 5 stars] - November 5, 2004
Subject: Enjoy the silence
Fantastic journey into the sea. If you like floating, this is for you. If you are just an "unknown" critic or director and joined only to whine about this (both did only watch aqualounge 1+2!), maybe you should play somewhere else. I like it a lot and wait for more!

Reviewer: Yogibear - [5.0 out of 5 stars] - November 5, 2004
Subject: Chill underwater
The second part is even more "yoging". Wonderful scenes with a nice soundtrack (which can be replaced by any kind of music). Seriuously good stuff. I can not recommend to use it as destop or screensaver, because I constantly got hooked on it for long times, before got back to work! ThatÃÂôs actually a good thing.

Reviewer: EmmaDee - [5.0 out of 5 stars] - November 5, 2004
Subject: Yes, yes, yes ...
Sorry, my review comes late (the download took some time with this one!!) was worth waiting for it. I like the longer "bottom-time" of the second part and hope the next part 8-)) has more. And even if I think the silence is wonderful and the secret of the movies, I still would like to have some additional information on the critters and sites - that would be very nice ;-). Thanks, Emma.

Subject: What a trip!
I really do love the way, this movie takes me underwater. It is true: You do not need to be a diver to be attracted to these pictures, but it does help. Pure meditation! OK-sign with two hands !

Subject: Aqualounge Flow 2-1
Just dicovered this film. 2nd part first.
And I watch it already, while the 1st one loads down.Hope that doesnÃÂôt hurt the flow.
Seems exactly right to me. Just watch it, whenever I am fed up with the news. ItÃÂôs like floating in a different world. ItÃÂôs like a drug. ItÃÂôs good - not for divers and sea-lovers only, but for all of us who need some peace of mind in these days.

Many thanks from Orca and her Daddy. We both love the water-like flow of the 2nd part. Good job !
