This quartet came together when Kim Myhr was offered a carte blanche for a short residency and concert at Ringve museum in Trondheim. Surrounded by the Trondheim fjord and the botanical gardens, it is a great place to work for a few days and develop new projects. Kim invited Burkhard Beins (with whom he'd never worked) and Nils Ostendorf from Berlin, as well as Kari Rønnekleiv from Oslo. Having not played together before, the group worked and discussed for three days, culminating in an afternoon concert on sunday may 8. All the music on the release is from that concert.
