Partly filled crater north of King. The smooth flat filling resembles mare material except that it is lighter in color. Note the numerous small 'ponds' with similar filling materials that are perched at various levels above the floor in rim deposits of the crater. Similar ponds have been described near Tyeho and Copernicus Craters. The north rim of King Crater extends into the left side of this oblique view westward.
