Those who haven't heard of the avantgard-musicians 'The Zverstvo' should keep the name in their mind.
Especially when you like to hang around at the russian coast of the black sea. On the one hand you can enjoy all 'The Zverstvo' live-shows they play in their hometown Krasnodar, on the other hand they enjoy the reputation of being the hippest band in town.
Last but not least this reputation is based on their memorable live-shows. A local TV-Reporter, who tried to record a 'Zverstvo'-gig and embellished his report with some Interviews of the band members, who were already marked of alcohol abuse at this special point of time after their show, was fired after his boss checked the produced material. What more can we say? There are some good reasons for loving 'The Zverstvo'.

This is one of the most exciting records I recently listened to. Excellent musicians making music far from our listening customs.

Subject: severely twisted avant-sax-punk?
well i can't say i've heard a band quite like this before... it sounds like a russian McLusky with saxophones, maybe. the vocalist sure can wail with the best of them, though... well worth a listen!
