Brasswork AgencyBrasswork Agency - [axp001] Desert Movement (November 11, 2005)

Would you like to try our new video/audio player ? (beta!)

Dark techno moods, breakbeat rhythms, and lush ambiances gives a psychedelic feeling to Desert Movement. This EP is a musician's reflection on the world as the war in the Middle East worsens. The song titles derive from The Atlantic Monthly's Foreign Affairs article entitled "Declare War," by Leslie H Gelb and Anne-Marie Slaughter. "Most wars are... determined by an unstable alchemy of known knowns, known unknowns, and unknown unknowns" (p. 54). Desert Movement EP is the musical translation of that statement.
