*Tonite was the first show for The Balance in 5 months after recording their first studio album "On the Sly". Tonight was also the CD release party.
*Opening band in Set 1/Disk 1 was called The Flux Capacitors - made up of The Balance backing up high school friend John Marshall (aka. Scott Howard) on lead vocals. All songs from the set are songs from popular movies. The show was a themed costume party, where guests were encouraged to come dressed in costume as a popular movie character. The Balance were all dressed in chemical suits & masks & wigs, much like Doc Brown in Back to the Future - hence "The Flux Capacitors"!
*1st Time Played: - The Power of Love (Huey Lewis & the News), Eye of the Tiger (Survivor), New Age Girl (Dead Eye Dick), Life is a Highway (Tom Cochran), Canned Heat (Jamiroquai), Any Way You Want It (Journey), The Immigrant Song (Led Zeppelin), Box Springs (The Balance), Threes (The Balance), Special Delivery (The Balance), Auld Lang Syne (Traditional), What a Wonderful World (Louis Armstrong), Opportunist (The Balance)
*Tonight also marked the 50th show for The Balance w/ Sound Engineer, TheSoundFella
*The crackling that slowly builds throughout the recording is the sound of the microphone on Jake's guitar amp slowly dying
