This show is phenomenal (even by Bela & Co's standards), and the recording sounds amazing. Download it, you'll dig it...

Even though this is one of the older Flecktones recordings on Archive, the sound quality is consistently satisfying. Howard Levy is as amazing as ever...solid recording of early Flecktones...I recommend it.

Sound quality is EXCELLENT--especially for an audeience recording made more than a decade ago. Whether you are a seasoned Flecktones fan or
are new to the band--this is a GREAT show to download.
This early Flecktones recording includes Howard Levy on Harmonica (and flute/tin whistle?) & Keyboards, which adds another dimension to the music. It made me pull out the first two albums again to hear some more of the "original" Flecktones line-up with Levy.
This is great stuff.
The only downside is that there are really only 5 songs, as the flecktones were merely the opening act this night. (Track 4 is the band introduction & Track 5 is "The Message": a rap-like tune that has some catchy and creative rhymes/messages but isn't really a full-band "song.")
The highlights for me were great performances of Sinister Minister, Lochs of Dread, and
Tell it to the Gov'nor.
Thanks, Andy, for seeding this show.
