Subject: Might As Well Be A Soundboard
When it comes to archive recordings, I am very picky. I like to play live material on my radio show, WoodWarbler's JazzGrass, whenever I can. Given the medium, however, I typically only play soundboard recordings with very few exceptions. This show is an exception. I don't know what "Studio Projects C4" exactly means, but I'm very glad to have found such an excellent quality Bela show here. Thanks to Bela & the band so very much for allowing these uploads! I've also yet to hear a poor performance, only poor quality (audience recordings always seem to be missing 1 or more instruments).

Subject: Great show, decent recording
This was a great show to listen to! The recording quality is nice and clean, but it sounds almost too clean to me, it's lacking in bass frequencies and dynamics. Otherwise a great show!

Subject: Wowza!!
This was my first time seeing the Flecktones after being a fan for a long while. All I can say is wow....I have never been so amazed by musicians before (and I am very often amazed by them), my jaw was on the ground the whole set as they made my whole world melt around me. These guys set a new level of music for me. Check this set out if you missed it at Wakarusa (I know many of you were over seeing STS9)!!
