xtatic's first solo release on backtrack employs catchy basslines and electronic melodies, making it easy to forget that he is far outside of what I thought was his standard territory - orchestral and hip-hop music. he skillfully brings us oldschool-style melodies and instrumentation, while remaining original and employing smooth mixing. each track brings back memories of videogames from the mid-90's. listening almost makes the listener instantly feel cool and collected.
