Subject: the real stuff
this is one of the best blues shows i have ever had the pleasure of listeneing to. Long set, great solo performences, and the crowd enjoying every minute of it(listen to the crowd noise and comments at the end of bobbys blues)
5 star all the way

If you like the blues, you need to hear this. If you have their other shows already, you'll definitely want this one. The boys were on really cookin' that night. They hit it hard the first set, then came back after the break and completely smoked the place. Check out the break in "I Would Do Most Anything", where Dave puts down his mic and wanders around the bar playing acoustic, then returns for a blistering finale. And Bob was a man on fire. Check out the solos on "Night Shade" or "Bobby's Blues". He was *inspired*.
I've heard these guys play a lot before (they host a local blues jam). But I've never heard anything like this. The place was hopping, the crowd was really into it, lots of people dancing. You really can't capture the energy that was there there that night in a recording, but you can get an idea. Give it a listen, you'll like it.

Subject: I'll stop giving this band 5 star reviews...
... when some other band starts putting real blues shows on archive.org. In the meantime, this is the only band I've found here that consistently offers straight up blues. The recordings have been excellent, and the performances amazing.
I would consider all shows currently posted here as must-haves. Although there is a bit of setlist duplication here, this show has a great version of Country Boy, some nice guest appearances on an incendiary Early in the Morning and Nice and Warm, and Bobby's blues which is a wonderful overdose of fretboard frenzy. And what I love about this band is they play as a band, and really know how to play a blistering slow blues.
If you are seriously into blues-- grab'em all, and also make sure to catch these guys live if you can!
