Subject: Highsteppin' indeed!
I saw these guys at the Iowa City, Iowa Jazz Fest this past summer and they were great! I had no idea anyone was playing trombone with effects out there. Check out Crosstown Traffic for the sound. Yep, that's a trombone. Great crisp recording and if for no other reason than having the balls to pull off a four 'bone frontline, five stars. I also dig the Sousaphone bass. I think he's the same guy that I thought was so cool playing on a Shane Theriot recording I have.

One of the better recordings I've heard. And a great set list to boot. Check out the stream if you need proof but you really should grab this one.
