Subject: Fairly good coverage of treasure tales of the day
As of 1911, the treasure tales of the era. Actually, a good mix of true treasure stories with tall tales, ie. Cocos Islands and Oak Island.

But it also covers successful recoveries of the Thetis and of other shipwrecks I'd not heard of.

Author is refreshingly skeptic of tales, and acknowledges more time and money is wasted on treasure hunts than is ever recovered.

Worth downloading and an evening.
