great show, great vibes...BoomBox opened for Kimock that night...thanks for the show Charlie! :)

peace

note: convert FLACs to WAVs and then open them in SoundForge. Copy the right channel and then paste it over the left channel. This will make the show sound as it was that night, a wonderful SBD mix by Charlie Miller. If you stream the show or download the files you'll notice a very treble-heavy tinny sound the whole show (yet each channel alone sounds perfect).

Thanks for uploading this sweet show Charlie!

...and on a side note, the Kimock show on this night was the BEST :)

Charlie you rock :)

more peace

it's nice to see this up as I checked the archive for Boombox shortly after the show and they weren't on here..luckily I bought their cd..Zion Godcheaux (yes Keith and Donna's son) and Co. deliver some head bobbin' beats, sweet guitar and creative theatrics..definetly download this one and check em' out if them come to your town or their website www.thisisboombox.com
The Dylan poem is super sweet.

Im not too sure on these as I had never heard them before, but after a minimal amount of research this is what I came up with.

1. Stereo
2. Midnight on the Run
3. I want You (She's so Heavy) - Beatles Cover
4. Last Thoughts on Woody Guthrie - Poem by Bob Dylan

Review:

I walked into the show a little after Boombox had started, but when I did I saw a girl spinning fire which immediately intrigued me more than the music I heard (but I also was not in a normal frame of mind). The lady left the floor and I started paying more attention to the band which I really started to get into. I enjoyed their stage presence and the songs they were playing hit me just right. Before I knew it the fire lady walked back into the audience, but this time she was 10 feet in the air with hand and feet stilts walking like a spider and had a great costume to go along with it. They played the beatles and read a bob Dylan poem too. All in all I had fun with Boombox and hope I can see them again.
