Subject: weird show..
I haven't heard since, but if you listen and weren't there: Weird show! It was an all-day event with 3000+ people that suffered from only about 200 showing up, the beer table shutting down at 5pm, and the floor being this HUGE open space with nobody on it all day. The "environmental expo" that was supposed to keep us all occupied for the afternoon featured about 4 tables selling trail mix and some nice trinkets. Plus the place had a heavy police presence. Outside the venue room, a GIANT indoor plaza/mall with not a soul in sight, save the random policeman or janitor.
When BP played about 200 people were on the floor, each with about 10-feet radius of space around themselves. The sound bounced off the back of the hall causing an odd echo effect, too. Was the only time I didn't enjoy myself at a BP show, though I remember they did play well (always do.)
