Special Time musically for this BAND!
After seeing these guys for a long time, I truly feel that this is a special time for this band musically. After the turmoil that has occured with members leaving, new members, etc...it is inspiring to see them come up with such amazing musical moments.
The recording is top-notch and adds immensely to the enjoyment of this show. Definitely give this a listen. All of the highlights have been mentioned, but it is the show as a whole that gets my 5 star vote.
I love hearing them really taking chances with their stuff so early on in the game with Matt(new keys). Even if it doesn't always work, it keeps you on your toes and everything remains fresh.

Always Bringin' It.
This show is hot, but I'll give it four stars because they've had better nights. Still an incredible night, The Breakfast never settle for anything less.
This recording is fantastic though. Makes for a great listen, better than most shows I download.
Hard Luck Harry and Spunk are HUUUUUUUGE! I think Tim Palmieri forgets he is human. Wait, is he?
The best live band out there right now, *especially* for under $10. An absolute steal. See them now while they're still playing small bars, it shouldn't be much longer with these skiiiilllllzzzz kiiiiiiidddddzzzzz.

WOW
This kind of performance has become expected since the addition of keyboardist Matt Oestreicher. The band is absolutely ahead of the learning curve, playing like they have played together for years with this keyboardist.
Musically it is some of the best the band has played. They are on fire. Check out an amazing Spunk and the slowed-down version of Tricky Ways is a treat.
Take a listen and you will be hooked.
Enjoy

Hot Night in Chicago
I was at this show and from the opening jam, it was obvious that we were in for a stellar show. Their new keyboard player is feeling more comfortable and confident and this recording shows it. Highlight, if I had to pick one, was Spunk > The Grand Scheme of Things, where the band went places I couldn't imagine it would go. This show is a keeper. Great recording. Thanks Rob.

yeah...
This show is the shit. I've been a huge fan of The Breakfast's studio albums for a long time, but they're live shows have never lived up to what they should be till now.
The whole band delivered phenomenally with loads of thought and energy this night and really made me consider who the best band on the scene is right now... Tim certainly proved himself as someone whose playing could teach Jake Cinninger a thing or two about guitar. I was front row for this, and this crisp recording really does the show justice.

A Band on fire!
Each show the setlists get more varied and the playing tighter yet looser than ever before. The drop into a slow blues jam with Tricky Ways comin' out slow stylie is just the best! AN electric Question Mark... is awesome to hear also.
This recording is fantastic. Thanks so much for documenting a huge show!
