Scant IntoneScant Intone - Live As Though Dead [brico003] (2005)

The dryest and subtlest wine of noise music, is what Scant Intone offers in Brico003. Sound planes that might be cousin territory somewhere between Iannis Xenakis and Christian Fennesz, where a fascinating breed of 'cute-noise' fairies hum entranced buzzing and bubbling tunes, rendering most delicately their harsh and granular environment. This recording is an excerpt from a live performance at AKA Gallery in Saskatoon on December 26th, 2003 and offers a glimpse of Scant Intone aka Constantine Katsiris' musical direction during that year. The title is derived from writings by Søren Kierkegaard.
