Subject: A fascinating insight into very early Wales by their princes
Subject: A fascinating insight into very early Wales by their princes
This is an ancient book from very old manuscripts, possibly written by Cadoc of Llancarfan, son of Gwynllyw and a very early saint of Llancarfan near Cowbridge, Glamorgan. It details in ancient style, within its early context of many of the conflicts and occurrences in Wales from approximately the fifth century or so into medieval times. Much excitement here, Viking Raids, Norman Raids, abortive raids by Saxons frightened of dark forests and mountains and the fates-tragic and otherwise of many Welsh saints, heroes and villains.A niche subject, but interesting on many fronts if you are interested in early Wales.
