Subject: Great show, Great Sound Quality!!
Great show from one of the best NJ/NYC bands around. BuzzUniverse is a jamming quartet that plays a danceable mix of funk, jazz, rock and reggae, but with a distinct sound that is their own. They must be seen live to be fully appreciated. BuzzUniverse is a lively quartet of guitar, bass, drums and sax/flute, and this is a nice, long, 2 set show which showcases all of their strengths as a band. The second set is especially hot in this show. Their music is tightly played and they are always loose and having fun as does the audience. And they show great taste in their choice of covers: gems by Pink Floyd, Neil Young, The Who, Creedence, among others. The sound quality for this show could not be better. This is a great place to discover BuzzUniverse and hopefully you will make it to one of their many shows in NJ/NYC. My favorite song of this show is the extended funked-out jam, In The Sun. I have watched BuzzUniverse steadily improve over countless shows the past 2 years and I look forward to seeing them in the future.
