AWESOME!
Butter Your Bread: Great way to open the show, really gets the energy going. Quick jam in there, solid and to the point. Very well played.
Fox Jam >: Described to me as A.D.D., I really liked the key and guitar interaction of the first part of the jam. The jam then changes shape and bursts into some dark and dirty four on the floor.
Stella >: The untz of the Fox Jam melts into the Stella intro. This is the first publicly-released Stella, and my first time hearing the song. The intro was pretty cool, and then the four on the floor is back! The "untz" middle part then transitions back to "normal Stella" nicely. Stella ending was nice, good guitar peak.
Grandma's Mamma Jamma: Energy-packed from the get-go. Includes a cyclone tease starting around the 3:30 mark. Well executed transition back to the ending of the song.
Boot Party: Gotta love Boot Party. They get right to it, high energy the whole way. First peak was awesome! The whole middle part of the song has a lot of great ideas going on in it, really liked the middle section. The build up to the boot party final peak is awesome, and is probably one of my favorite things that the band does.
Overall: I thought the show was solid start to finish. There were a couple times when they seemed a bit A.D.D. for sure, but those moments were pretty quick and lent themselves to some interesting exploration.
