The exact date of death...
Great show, but Boogiemonster had make a little mistake... he said Michael Jackson was dead in 2010, but he was dead an year before, 2009.

Pete Best
Pete Best did *not* play on either version of "Love Me Do". He was replaced by Ringo before the recording session. George Martin also hired session drummer Andy White (in case Ringo couldn't cut it), and it's White who plays drums on the LP version of the song (with Ringo on tambourine). Ringo does play on the 45 version. Pete Best appears on the Decca auditions, the Hamburg Star Club recordings, and several live tapes.
Great show otherwise!

I'm sorry Pete.....we're letting you go....
The Pete Best thing is hilarious....I laughed each time the filler came in.....also the 12" of Electric Avenue is spectacular. Nice rarities this week including the Nena Germerican version of 99 Luftbaloons.
