Subject: He hates his job but the sound is great.
I couldn't believe this concert. It is a true portrait of a musician in agony. Can you imagine playing the same songs in 2005 that you had been playing at Woodstock in 1969? Yes, this is what you get.

While the sound quality is good, there is a clear and depressing quality to the crowd communications that CJ makes throughout the concert which gave me the darndest message: His comments seemed to show that he was appalled that these people could actually still be interested in hearing this same music after all of this time. And the playing of the group, if you can recall from way back then, or if you listen to these recordings, shows that in many songs the guitars parts were only comprised of three notes played over and over again. Imagine trying to get up on stage to play that with any enthusiasm after, what is it? 37 years? And yes, that lack of enthusiasm is clear.

In fact, I give the band an 'A' for extreme effort. Everything is played coherently, and the recording quality is fine but the audio mix is inspirationless.

Subject: This Crop is Redy to rock
This is one of the shows on the 2005 tour I missed. It is a brillaint show and well worth the time to download it. Some old songs and new songs as well as CJs solo stuff done with the Band.

If anyone has any CJ Band/McDonald solo shows they wish to trade please let me know - I have many to trade. My list is here http://hometown.aol.co.uk/hillen120/myhomepage/favband.html

I also have DVDs from the 2004 & 2005 tour to trade
