At the Chicago show the night before, I gave Charlotte some chocolate. It's nice to know that it may have had some impact on her playing 'Chocolate' the next day.

Oh, the guy on her webboard that asked her about chocolate.. that was me, I wanted to know what kinds she liked so I could bring her some.

Talk to Strangers - shhh <3

This was one of the best/most emotional shows I've been to of Chars. It was hot and sticky in the tavern, but there was a lot of passion, monsters, and love in that little room.

Thanks again to Chris for recording this - at least for me, this show was flawless.

An amazing recording! I just discovered this site while searching for writings on Charlotte Martin. Charlotte will be performing here in Phoenix tomorrow (6/19/20). As a huge music lover, I can't believe I never came across this site! I'm glad I did. Thank you! *CHEERS*

Subject: Gotta love Char!
I was so thankful that this show was taped so I could hear Char singing "Chocolate". And I was not dissapointed...this is a must hear! She sings it beautifully just as she does all of the other songs. It's really great to be able to have Ken join her on "Steel", "Chasing a Shadow", and "ETIR". They sound awesome together.

Subject: Thanks for Taping
Thanks for taping the show. I was there front and center for all this chaos. The Beachland Tavern is not the best for sound, but the taping still keeps the memories pleasant to my mind and my ear (even with the annoying people talking in the background). Thanks!

Notes

Headlining show from Darkest Hour tour. Track 1 began as prerecorded intro and finished with Charlotte on piano. Tracks 8, 9, and 10 feature Ken Andrews on guitar.
