Mark CohenThe Coffee House - Feature (2007)

When Ned Seligman, who runs a non-profit on Sao Tome off the coast of West Africa, returned to the Bay Area in 2004 to raise funds and get First World medical care, he never imagined that he'd end up a double amputee after contracting the superbug, MRSA, possibly at his dentist's office. Ned, his personal physician, Carolyn Cooper, the emergency care doctor, Guy Livnat, and an infectious diseases speciailist, Dr. Henry Chambers, discuss the ordeal and treating MRSA.
