This is a very interesting style of movie making.
It is likely a classical piece being upon an interesting historic subject, with such an all star cast.
I'd give it a 4.5 if there was that.
As to copyright law; weren't they originally 50 year copyrights? I heard something about extending them but that wouldn't be legal as then all the cast and crew would have to be paid what they weren't originally with interest for the time that past. People who sold their rights would have to be reimbursed in a similar manner for the difference. Otherwise it would make the courts party to a rip off and as Justice Frankfurter said, "The courts won't be party to criminal activity."

Its ok, but the scene, I found it laughable, all these people are wide eyed, fascinated, astonished, gaping with wonderment and desire....at what? This lady, decidedly middle ages, and while pleasant looking, just pleasant looking. She enters and descends the stairs. I understand she is the "great lady" of the movies, but gee whiz, such a reaction to an ordinary looking middle aged lady.

Subject: MGM comes through again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally, a Garbo flick. She didn't make many sound films(with her leaving the film industry in 1941 with that film flop, Two Faced Woman).
She was a talent beyond measure and her director was always Clarence Brown (even in her silent days).
