Subject: Excellent little show!
If you're looking for a nice, little, tasty introduction to Cornmeal this might be a good place to start. The recording is top notch. It includes excellent versions of two of my favorite tunes, The Girl With The Short Brown Hair, and When The World's Got You Down. What really stands out here though is the excellent jamming, and the beautifully smooth segues. The Fox > Walking In Your Footsteps > The Fox is perfect, but it isn't the mindblower of the set. The real heat is in the Dig A Hole > You Should Be Dancing! Yes, that is a Bee Gee's tune! When you hear Kris (the guitar player) pull out the mutronics-type sound for the lead-in jam you have to remember that he's playing an acoustic guitar! It is a sweet rendition, and it caps off a pretty perfect set. Download it. Put it on a CD. Listen to it in the car. Enjoy! You can't go wrong with this one.
