Subject: Solid Show
I like this show a lot. Charlie is in great spirits and Mikkel Beckmen adds a nice groove during the second set. Charlie also does a few new variations on old favorites.

Update for the review from "Mud Songs". Glad you like this recording. I would like to note that the version of "Roses While I'm Living" from this show was featured on the "Misplaced Pets" CD. Follow the link for more information. http://www.misplacedmusic.co.uk/mm105.html

Subject: Charlie, man, this should be on CD
This is a must-have recording for Charlie Parr fans. He is in the zone for this performance. I downloaded the whole show, selected my favourite tracks and remixed them onto a single CD -- and I play it as often any of Charlie's regular CDs. I love his intro to The World is Not My Home: "I'll do a hymn for those of you ain't planning on getting to church this weekend." My home-made CD of this recording looks like this. It's a beauty.

1922; Blessed Be Thy Name; By and By; Canned Heat; Jesus at the Kenmore; Jesus is a Dyin' Bed Maker; Migrant Boxcar Train; Mole in the Ground; Ode to a New Dealer; Poor Lazarus; Prodigal Son; Roses While I'm Livin'; Statesboro Blues; This World is Not My Home; Uncle Jack's Rag; Yo-Yo Blues.

Note to Charlie: You should put this out on CD.

I like to listen to this show often. He has some good bluegrass tunes and melodies. I hope to see more on the Archive! Thanks for making this possible.
