Subject: College Party???
This is maybe the earliest CVB recording on this website and it sounds like a typical college party where some friends who almost have a band together get up and do their own tunes which no-one else has heard before as well as doing funny versions of other folks tunes. Boy they really sound like a generic 80's band on "I Don't See You", never one of my favorite CVB tunes; dig the chorus-effected lead guitar!
The recording sounds fairly close-up but kinda muddy with loud bass and vocals that are going through a weak PA system. Other than David Lowery and Victor K's voices, I can't tell who else is in the band at this point, the "musicianship" is not really there, maybe everyone's real drunk.
Thanks to whoever posted this, and thanks to CVB for okaying it and thanks to Internet Archive. What a blast to hear these old shows!!
