Subject: not THAT bad
you guys seems a bit too critical. i would rate this about good. sounds to me like either the sound wasn't properly mixed or the mic location was too close to the PA. it's still a listenable recording. they can't all be perfect aud or SB recordings and i'm sure there's some crappy dead recordings too. unfortunately cvb doesn't attract a taping crowd like the GD did, so there aren't hundreds of recordings to choose from. it's free, take it or leave it but don't bitch. thanks to jay for this and all the taping he's done and posted here. long live CVB!!

Subject: OUTDOOR VENUES
OUTDOOR SOUND IS BAD. POOR SOUND.I love Camper Van But,I can only hope the sound was better at the actual show.

Funny how audience Grateful Dead shows from 1969, can kick the crap out of a 2003 aud...have we gone backwards somewhere?
