Subject: Great Stuff
I had never heard of this artist before. I usually come to listen to Grateful Dead but clicked on this 'just to see'. Great writing, great playing, good singing, good sound.
I appreciate that you share this with us. I'll look to buy some of your music so I can put some coins in your pocket.

Subject: Unbelievable....
I had never heard of Dave before listening to this recording. He is on a level above many performers I have seen or heard. I only listened to this as it was a staff pick (a lot of times I am steered to recordings that are so-so), not so here. This captvated me to the point that I listened to it three times through! I hate sitting here and listening to the 5-star rated concerts, "I was there, so it has to be 5".
This is top shelf all the way. It far surpasses many of the high-rated recordings on the Archive. Here you will find a performer that transcends many musical genres and gives a case for being an icon. Lyrically, musically and entertainment-wise this was a treat.
Kudos to the taper on this also. This recording is what we hope for on all the archive material. So much here on the archive is very marginal recording-wise to listen to and after you listen to this you wish there was more.
Thanks again Dave for sharing, you have shown why you deserved the Grammy!

Subject: Fantastic Show
I listened to this show this morning and it gets an 5 for performance and a 5 for the recording. One of the better recorded shows I have heard in a long time. Great job by the taper.
Dave is in fine form. It's a very energetic show with lots of humorous between song banter by Dave.

Subject: Wow
I saw the show and now I'm listening to it.
I must say it almost sounds better than it did there and probably would except I was in the front row (sorry if you can here us on the recording).
Dave Alvin is great, this show and the show he did at the church the year before are my two favorites that I've seen him do. I thank Dave for allowing Acoustic Music to post here and a big thanks to James for putting it out for us to listen to. Bravo

Subject: "OUTSTANDING"
Ditto to the thanks for "all involved" in getting this out. But first and foremost, "Thank you Dave" for allowing this fantastic show to passed along and shared with us. Absolutely worthy of the five stars.
