-Greetings and appreciation to neighbors, family, and friends in the lawn!
-The Bass was pretty heavy for the first few songs, but seemed to clean up a little after that.
-Heavy rain and wind, mostly during Me & My Uncle and Row Jimmy.
-I left the hypercardioids out of the mix for first set, because they picked up the wind the worst. The rest did fairly well.

Subject: i was here!
Subject: i was here!
i remember i saw the taper about 10 feet away from the railing at the edge of the GA lawn and i though the little "sub-compact" umbrellas (as approved by Riverbend Music Center) they had for the mic stand were so cute! but i'm glad they took them off before showtime because the storm that blew in for the first set would've sounded miserable
i will say that the sound of this recording doesn't do this show justice, i was about 50-75 feet back from the taper and i could hear every source crystal clear, especially bob which i could only dream of from an unbalanced sbd
the boys were definitely doing their darndest to play a good show and i commend them for that! however afterwards i remember having the same feeling as my stepmom about john mayer: "he's pretty decent." this was both our first true dead show so first-impressions have a strong bias
other than john's "O" face for every other verse, i loved the energy they captivated. i caught jeff pointing to his hair and doing a thumbs down pre-space and realized wharf rat was coming up which was fun as always with callouts
overall i'd give this show 4 stars: not the greatest but a damn good time! sound quality definitely suffices for a free source, much love to the lone taper!
p.s. to the person pitching a tent about the crowd noise: it's ohio, this is the sound of a good crowd where we're from, sounds like you don't like women :/

Love that the annoying show-talker almost gets it at 4:18 of the Row Jimmy, but then is promptly back on her bullshit. To that numbskull party girl, take it to a bar and stop staining my ears with your twaddle.
Thanks to the taper for being there and recording. Fun show where a number of tunes take off.
