Subject: Awesome Helix>Pygmy>Lai
Amazing sound quality. the Helix>Pygmy>Lai is a great segment and a really good disco way to introduce someone to the Biscuits. though the rest of the show is good too.

Subject: Shimmy
This shimmy, as described in the previous review, is the most interesting and perhaps the best overall version I've ever heard. The rest of the set is nothing spectacular, but the shimmy and the munchkin are both stellar. The first set is also quite good, especially the Basis>Spy>Basis. The Basis pounds and rages at over 40 minutes with a cool Spy sandwiched in between. Sound is also extremely good, one of the best tDB aud's I have.
Deserves a download

Subject: Worth hearing for shimmy
Normally i wouldn't bother writing a review for a mediocre show, but there are a few things on this show that are SO out of the ordinary, that some hardcore collectors will find interesting. First of all, the band was in a very strange mood that night. By far this was the strangest show i've ever attended simply due to the Shimmy jam.
It wasn't so much a jam, but tons and tons of spoken samples over a mellow beat...most of it had to do with how surreal it is to have naggy people wake you up, and people pestering you in general. It actually kind of made me feel uncomfortable, because it was nothing that i had even come close to experiencing at a biscuits show before...the memphis->purple haze->memphis->purple haze-> b&c may appear to be an interesting segment on a setlist, but it is pretty unremarkable.
If you want to hear the most unique shimmy of all time, then listen to this show.
overall, the show gets a 3, but the shimmy gets a 5 rating, and should be downloaded as an individual track if nothing else.
1 With 'Relax' (Frankie Goes To Hollywood) tease
2 With 'Reactor' vocal tease
3 Jimi Hendrix cover- first time played
4 With 'Frog Legs,' 'Muppet Show' theme and 'Mario Kart 64' (Nintendo) teases
