I will agree that the mindless dribble shaded hues of strobe lights and martins, but it's a pretty strong drink, if I do say so myself. I prefer a little more olives in my martini. Anywho, digital Buddha really spoke of barbers inner Beethoven, especially when hitting those upper registered notes.

But there are 4 or 5 jams in this show that are "Borrowed" from earlier shows. The obvious one is the Strobelights / 9/1 Dribble jam in the middle of Dribble..but keep an ear peeled for some less famous shoutouts to the past.

Normally, I agree with Tree's reviews, but I disagree with his assessment of the WIS>Sven encore being average. The jam there is a great example of happy biscuits... possibly the best ever segment including World Is Spinning. Listen now!

Resurrection > Digital Buddha - Long jam in Resurrection. Very Magner-led jam, and this is another one of those mysterious sounding jams with lots of psychedelic layering. Some great uplifting Barber about a minute from the point of track switch. The drop into Buddha is way off. THe Buddha jam really doesn't do much for me, and 42 is way too long of a song.
Astronaut > frontationCon > Astronaut - The jam out of Astronaut is very transcendental sounding. Magner has this great arpeggiator that remains in the background the whole time, and Barber is playing a really great riff. Brownstein and Sammy show great patience here and really let the themes develop well. The Confro jam starts out as a bouncy little major key jam, very fun, and then turns evil about half way through. There's an un-noted Run Like Hell tease from Barber here, and the synth line Magner plays around 13:15 is GREAT.
Jam > Robots > SRB > Buddha - The jam goes nowhere at all. 1st jam is straightforward, exactly what you'd expect from a Robots 1st jam. The 2nd jam is a breakbeat jam, and is very dark, but really gets great a few minutes before it makes the switch to Boo. The jam in Boo is quite enjoyable.
Dribble is all around fantastic. The first jam is more like a jam on Strobelights And Martinis, and it's very good. The second jam is a groovy psychedelic dance jam.
Svenghali > Sound 1 is chilled out pretty Biscuits at its finest. Magner's got a square wave and Barber's got minimal guitar, and together they make it sound so, so pretty. Perfect build into Sound 1.
World Is Spinning > Svenghali is pretty average, but after a show like this, who really cares what the encore is?
This show has one of my favorite Astronauts ever. Astro > Confro > Naut, Robots (2nd), Dribble, Svenghali > Sound 1.

My personal favorite Astronaut, super solid and the buildup into Confrontation gets me every time. They really take their time, Magner dropping major bombs, Barber and Sam frantic at the end, soaring. Worth a listen.
