Sound is good.
Mulberry's > Bazaar Jam > Reactor > RLH > Sound 1 > Mulberry's > Voices Jam > Waves - Mulberry's is segued out at a cool spot, and Sammy drops to 1/2 time before they head into the Bazaar Escape "jam," which actually winds up more like a DJ segue between Mulberry's and Bazaar, followed by an awesome melt into the Reactor beginning. Listen to this 10 minutes of music if you're familiar with each of these songs and want a good example of this band's creativity. I'm not really sure how to describe the jam out of Reactor. It's fast trance for quite a while but it's not really dancey trance. I guess the best way to describe it would be menacing. Normally I'm all about that type of jam, but this one just doesn't do a lot for me. There's an un-noted Reactor ending fakeout into Run Like Hell, and eek. The drop into Run Like Hell is just awful. Ick. The 1st RLH jam is short (~2 minutes or so) but not bad. The 2nd jam is very good, but I'm not sure I'd say it's one of the best RLH's you'll ever hear, as another reviewer said. It's certainly a really good jam though. Unfortunately, they again botch a segue, and the drop into Sound 1 is actually pretty painful. The "jam" out of Sound 1 is really just a vamped out Sound 1 outro that eventually turns into Mulberry's. Not sure I really like this portion at all, because they don't pull the trigger nearly quickly enough. It's kinda cool when they finally do, but the Mulberry's > Bazaar > Reactor is way, way cooler. The Mulberry's jam actually sounds more like a Morph jam to my ears. This Morphberry's jam is really good Magner-led trance for the first several minutes before Barber takes the reins. Brownstein also has some REALLY catchy licks in this jam. The switch into Voices is again a DJ segue-esque thing, and this one's alright. The drop into Waves is a straight drop into the song. The Waves jam starts out kind of meandering for my tastes. After a few minutes they settle into what turns out to be a fairly good drum and bass jam. I wouldn't call it mindblowing or anything, but worth a listen. The peak isn't really built up at all here.
42 > KOTW > Voices > Robots - I'm not sure what the sample is that Magner or Sammy is using here, but it's really awesome for some reason. The jam is a catchy trance jam that's very spacey before getting into the upbeat, major key 42 ending. The "segue" into KOTW is odd, and consists of the band repeating the 42 chorus over and over while they play the "industrial" portion of KOTW under it. Not bad, not great. The KOTW jam starts out very psychedelic, with some really trippy patch from Magner layered over everything. It turns into a dub jam really nicely and unfortunately Magner loses the crazy patch, but he gains panflutepatch. This turns into a really thematic, dub jam. Near the end the drums pick up and they drop into a dubbed out inverted Voices! Really cool. There's a short jam into the beginning of Robots (without the intro). The 1st Robots jam isn't all that great, and sounds like a lot of Robots 1st jams. It doesn't really get good until just before the drop back into Robots. The 2nd jam starts with some great communication between Magner and Barber, and Sammy is playing a start/stop drumbeat. Things get really mellow for a drum and bass jam, and I think it works really well. The build into the ending is just perfect and flows really naturally.
News - Standard
Svenghali - I'm not overly impressed with this Svenghali. I thought it was decent, and I like that it had several themes. I just wasn't really "moved" by this one. I'd call it an average-good Svenghali. The peak, however, is fantastic.

RLH (2nd), Mulberry's (2nd), KOTW, Robots (2nd) are all worth a second listen. This show has a couple major flubs, but the aforementioned jams are very good. I don't really understand anybody who says that this day is better than the following day. I think the 16th is significantly better.

I really like what they were trying to do but some of the segues are really bad. The ->Run Like Hell out of Reactor ending fakeout and the jam into Sound 1 are terrible. Hate to be the voice of negativity but I've been seeing people hype this part of the segment a lot and it was one of the biggest trainwrecks I've ever heard from this band.
Other than that it is a good show as people have noted. Just figured the truth needed to get out.

Absolutely amazing show. Kicks off with a blazing blitz though Mulberry's Dream that segs seemlessly into wicked Bazaar Escape fakeout. Quickly a wildly entertaining Reactor luminates. Reactor rages into Run Like Hell...easily one of the best version of Run you will hear, and the segue into Sound One is synergy by way of the Biscuits in a big way. It is in fact one of my all time favorite segues.
42>King of the World>Voices is "to infinity and beyond". You've gotta hear it to believe it kind of stuff. Even the Spy is a standout version. Overall the degree of creativity this show entails is amazing -- as is the playing. Factor that with the fact that the sound quality is top notch the conclusion is simple -- 8/15/03 is a must have, can't live without show. Do yourself a favor and download now.

This show is great. Both nights were awesome, but this show takes the cake because of the 42 > KOTW > Voices > Robots. This segment is one of my all time favorite jams. The segue into voices is pure evil, and the Robots is one of my favorite versions.
Sound quality is superb too, I'd give it a solid 9 out of 10 aud source.
I haven't heard every show, but from the ones I have, I'd say this is probably the best of '03
