Progger, I think I agree with you. I mean it's hard to say what is the very best thing they've done considering there are a few really tight jams that make my "best ever" list, but there is something really special about this jam.
Considering it's 2 of the oldest Biscuits' songs and Sammy's last show, I sense there was a bittersweet feeling within the sandwich. At points during the first AC2B, I get the sense that if music could weep, that's what it would sound like, which then progresses to a really sultry and blissed out climax.
Just one of the many reasons why I love these guys.

caterpillar was the moment this weekend took hold for me and i recognized the enormity of fucking goodness coming out of the misty mountains into our sweaty, stank-ass, humble human selves.

this show, while not epic by any means, was a very nice goodbye to Sammy. The first highwire since early 01 was a fun little way to start. Aceetobee> nughuffer(><)> aceetobee is an excellent segment. The nughuffer jam gets really nasty and there's a great >aceetobee.
Set II started off a little slow with the very moon, but the caterpillar that followed is perhaps the best version of the song (or at least jam) that the band has offered yet. The reactor> above the waves(><)> I-man segemnt looks better on paper than it actually was, but still is not bad by any means. really strong moments in each of the jams, but I just think it took a long time to get to those points and they didn't last as long as they should've. floes was slightly above average and it's placement was wonderfuland the Sammy song was a nice way to send him off. It's hard to believe that this is his last show, but if it is, it's definitely not a bad way to go. we'll miss you Sammy.

For me this was the night. This show definetly had some classic moments. The AC2B > Nughuffer > AC2B was most up there.

This was a great show, not as good as night one, but still a great show. The reactor was sick, as per usual. Sammy's going away left a tear in my eye. I was surprised to see his last song as spectacle, not a drumming machine like munchkin would have been, I just hope Sammy got to pick his last tune. Great to hear them say "we'll be playing these songs for years to come." Sammy, I wish you the best in the future, we need doctors, but we also need the best drummer. I sincerely mean that. Peace and love, my friend.
