I thinkallen does a fookin kick ass job on this WHen simply because its a fuckin super hard song to mimic and I think he does it really well. you can tell he has studies it or atleast li9stened ot it a bunch of times to get it right. and i think he does just that. there are many many parts to this song and he keeps up very well even though in some of the jams of the ngiht he does seem rushed but thats just because I would imagine his role to be pretty stressful which would explain the adrenalinized hurriedness he envokes. its all gravy though

All i can say is listen to Barber in Mr. Don. In my opinion it was really the only time during this show that barber's intensity gets to that next level. Give it a listen at least once, or 10 times in a row if you like it as much as me. Confrontation>Crickets>Confrontation is also a nice part of the show.

There are two parts of this show that stand out.
One would be the 7-11 > Liquid Handcuffs, which shows the Biscuits potential to jam out Conspirator songs. Definitely a high point. Even though Jon gets a little off tempo near the end, its still a nice piece.
The main part of the show that got me was the House Dog. The first jam is fairly standard. The second one though is the most exploratory House Dog jam Ive heard in years. Each member plays there own thing, without ever sounding cluttered. They dive deep into where a House Dog should take you, and before it risks going stale, they bring it back home.
Even if the rest of the show doesnt look good, download the House Dog, its the main selling point of this show

I don't know exactly what it is, but it seems a bit loose or something. Its not as creative jamming to me. It doesn't have the vibe, but obviously there are some real dope moments. As a whole though its just okay. Sound quality is fine.

my friends caught baltimore and slayreville, but i could make it down for the jersey shows, either way, all shows were great and proved to me that allen is capable of stepping up and pushing the jams the way sammy did it best. i still needs to find that laid-back groove style instead of being ADD with the high hat (not to trash the sound.... i love a dirty dance party).
my friend called the voices opener, and i was hoping for 7-11 or 42 throughout the night. great solid opener and this recording really does justice to the show. the echo on barber's voice for voices was great to hear again. the confron > crickets > tation was huge!!! the > crickets part of it had some great jams, and brownie was dropping bass bombs up the wazoo..kitchen mitts was an average version, i'd prefer amsterjam's or jam on the river's versions. mr don was a great tight version with some funkiness.
2nd set - the helicopters was way short (relatively) -6 1/2 minutes..but the rest of the 2nd set was close to nonstop madness. with the opening chords of 7-11 i started pumping my fist and yelling at my nearby friends. the jam stuck into a dub reggae groove and barber started playing this funky semi-recognizable riff...then, when brownie stepped up the mike and started singing, the place exploded. great version, i love the dubbed out version. judy's then came back into 7-11, which started to fade into a calm techno groove before magner brought the band into liquid handcuffs. great version... the house dog party favor, is, by far, the most nutty moment of the night.the first jam was pretty raging, but the second jam was pure evil clown music. when they slammed back into the final chorus, everyone was faced by bisco...I remember when was a great upbeat song to close out the evening (the next night would turn out to be so much darker and dirtier)
