This show is pretty good. It's not super high energy, which is why allot of people dont like this show. It's very Psychedelic and hypnotizing. This show is good if your in the mood for bisco, but you want to chill out as well. I love this show because it was my first biscuit show. I was kind of out of it for most of the show, but I had an eargasm hearing the chorus of Jigsaw. From that point on I was hooked to bisco, WOOOO!

this does not deserve some of these reviews. not the best bisco show ever but solid and entertaining. give it a dl and judge for yourself.

This show was terrible. The only thing I can bring my self to listen to is very interesting Astronaut -> Voices Insance.

Allen is the reason for the lack of patience.
I was there and he gets ahead of himself to much. Allen is great and he is really getting much better but I have been watching these guys since '02 and Haymaker, Misha, the Southern run all exemplify the style of Bisco that we love. They are getting back to it though and the Fall run is going to be sick. Patience, Patience,
November is almost here
See you on the road

all good was worth the 13 hour drive from vermont - but bisco left me high and dry. dont bother downloading it unless you want something slowed down and (rare for bisco) boring. the great abyss saved me though, its a highlight in the rubbish. the boys kept starting something but never got the ball rolling.

"Weak" is the right word, but "Little Shimmy > Great Abyss > Cyclone > Munchkin" is reel tight and def worth the dl! the rest of the show is stuff you've heard a thousand times, no hot jamz or creativity with the songs

Subject: clean cut
i gotta say they sound real clean
and focused i really dig the way
they are sounding. Im not a diehard
db fan but i always enjoy seeing
them live and i think that they
have made great progess from the
last time i saw them in amsterdam.
i like that they are playing less
of the techno type tunes and are
creating more space for themselves.
im impressed..

Subject: cooke knows the deal...
cooke has got it right....being a "newbie" myself (camp iv was my first show), I love the intense, crazy high energy peaks, but when I really think about it, I have definitely had a nagging feeling that I was missing out on something. When I listen to jams like ladies>voices from haymaker or even the humu from trancemission (I dont think this is as widely accepted as being such a classic as the haymaker sets, but its one of my favorites), I wonder why I havent heard anything that subdued, yet perfectly intricate recently. This whole show, but especially the abyss and cyclone seem a lot less rushed than other jams. This style places more importance on the valley, rather than just treating it as mere filler between the peaks. Plus, barbers tooling around sounds so much more complex and delicate than in the other recent shows Ive listened to, and this delicacy can be appreciated more because the music is not as overpowering as usual.
Though, of course, I love it all, and im just extremely happy that I found out about tBD when I did.

Subject: One of the more interesting shows of the "new" tDB era
There aren't many shows that are more polarizing than this one. If you're looking for something to dance to or rage to or whatever, this show is not for you. This is not a high energy show, and personally I'm quite thankful for it. There is so much patience in what they're doing - they're just not in any hurry to get somewhere. There aren't really any peaks to speak of, but that's part of what makes this show so interesting. They keep moving together, pushing and weaving. To look at reviews that say "lack of patience" or "bad segues" or whatever is downright laughable. There's one bad transition, and that's the frenetic segue into Camera B, probably the only real peak (well, maybe the Munchkin, too). Everything else is perfectly executed. Mark and Jon are locked into each other this show like they haven't been in quite some time, and it definitely forces Magner to play a different role than other shows from this era. From this style switch springs forth new creativity in areas like the Shimmy jam or sublime segue into Voices. At one point, Allen even tries to take the reins for a little bit in the segue to Munchkin, something he hadn't really done up to that point (try to lead a jam).

I think their ability to play a serene and intricate show like this so early together shows just how comfortable the band is getting. The interplay is phenomenal and really harks back to some of the spacier stuff from '01 at points. And the sound is pretty solid, especially if you bump up the mids and tap down the lows a bit.

If you want to download a show with sloppy jamming, inpatient transitions, and an over all bad show,

the all good show was good but not bisco's best, munchkin invasion is always sick and i like voices insane alot but ive heard better from these guys, plus the all good crew completely shorted bisco the end to their set plus their encore which would have been sick for sure, fun set tho.

i had an amazing time dancin' to DB @ All Good. They experimented with different transitions and did a FINE job 2 it. Plus the quality si super and when you have friends and the DB are throwin' it down, that's all u need!
