When the beat drops in the middle of Astronaut and the crowd cheers it sent a shiver through me and all the hair on my arms stood up!
Maybe i'm a monkey, too : )
Btw, the bit about bananas and "Untz" might be the silliest thing I've ever read on the archive...
This show is amazing and the sound quality is superb!!

Subject: Good... but not best
It's not a bad show, but definitely not the best. Someone previously said astronaut had a pretty good jam.. yes, it's decent biscuits but doesn't even compare to some (i.e astronaut from ft. lauderdale 10/9/07, now that's what I call a JAM).

Subject: C'mon Now People
To all of you fuckin mindless UNTZ zombies, this show was alright but not nearly worth five stars. Anyone with a decent sense of musical taste will understand what I am saying. I was there and was not all that impressed. Personally i thought 06, from what I saw, was not their best year. I feel that they were trying to feel there way out with Allen, and figure out exactly which direction they were goin to take the band. They knew they couldn't dissapoint at least half the audience by just playing untz, so that's what they stuck to primarily. The setlist of this show is not the greatest, if you want a good new years show check out 05 Hammerstein or 07-08 New Years at Tweeter, such a better show/setlist. I like the untz but not all the fuckin time, seriously people lets grow some brains and not just dig whatever their playing just because its Bisco. It's like some of you are like monkeys at the zoo, eating whatever bananas are being thrown at you. You must analyze the quality of the banana before you eat it, not just eat it simply because its a banana.

Subject: 2006 ends impressively
All I'm going to say is that the band's sound has obviously changed over the course of 2006 and this show sums up the new style of jamming they have devoloped. If you're not a fan of 2006, you will not like this show at all. If you love 2006 and think its best bisco yet, this is a great show. It's straight foward sterotypical UNTZ 2006 bisco.

Subject: A generally high-quality recording
This was my first Biscuits show, and experienced from the middle of the pit. It blew my mind and I've been hooked ever since.
This is a nice download. I didn't and still don't notice the weird sound too much. A very energetic couple of sets.

I was lost in a room with no visable walls except for cascading, twirling, flying beams of light. The cealing took a vacation. Tunes were nice, beasty boy cover was an awesome adition and of course the sound quality was amazing (so much so that i have to give 4 stars because there is no way any recording could be good enough to meet the five star standard.
Camp Bisco was way better Bisco

Subject: Amazing Show
Absolutely amazing show, I came in during the middle of Great Abyss, and unfortunately missed Astronaut, which by all accounts was one of the best individual songs of the entire run. Munchkin absolutely blew my mind, as did Paul Revere(just because it was unexpected). Amazing show, amazing night, amazing band.

Across the country people were dividin up, a main one in my town (SF) for NYE was Biscuits or STS9. And I could say similar things about portions of the 9 run, but fact is both bands had whole followings come from around the country to party. Say what you will musically, but people woulda been leavin the venue complainin had either band not catered to what the experience called for.
Show some respect, musicians gotta do they thing

Subject: Another ragin' New Years with Bisco
First let me start off by saying this show was nasty from start to finish. It was my 3rd or 4th straight New Years with Bisco, cause thats always where the party is.
Anyway, I missed pretty much all of Astronaut, but upon hearing it again it was pretty good. Not astounding, but good. Abyss>Spacebird>42>Spacebird was pretty insane, although I wish they'd stop playing 42 (it's a good song, they just play it way too often). Then where the hell did Trucker's come from??!? Whoda thunk it?
Set 2 they had a little fun and did Paul Revere to start things up. They did their thing, sounded good doing it, then moved on to much better things before too long. After that, set 2 became like 1 long trip. My first memory of 2007, taking a toke from my batty after it turns to midnight, then watching it fall to the floor and shatter. Oh well.
Set 2 was amazing in all aspects. Setlist was insane, playing was even better.
Encore... ahh, the encore. Quite possibly one of the best Spagas I've ever heard, clocking in at almost 25 minutes of pure mayhem.
This recording sounds really good. I suggest you don't haste and pick this up... PRONTO, BITCHES!
Happy new year to everyone. See you all on tour...

Subject: Amazing
I donâÂÂt even know where to begin about how amazing this show was. The crowd energy was at a high level all the way through, the quadrophonic sound was amazing (from where I was, center section behind the soundboards), and the lack of security was nice. As far as the music, the first set was very short, but at the same time was top notch. Spacebird>Inv42>Spacebird has some great peaks in it, and trucker's choice was nice to have heard live. But the second set is mind-boggling. Bazaar escape worked flawlessly with the countdown and all of the segues were tight, especially Bazaar Escape>Munchkin. In person i thought i was gonna have a heart attack during the end of bassis. sorry i shouldnâÂÂt be wasting anymore of your time download the entire show and just listen to it straight through.

Subject: bisco nye '07
there is no recording that can ever recreate what happened that night.. that sound system was surreal and of course the light show and video screens added to it..really dug the strobe lights!.. if you had 4 ears you could try and get a better description... i was in section 220 (back center).... in front of the rear speakers and the combination of the rear and the fronts and everything else made this the best biscuits show i have seen in past ten yrs!... can't wait for florida!

Subject: quadrophonic sound
quadrophonic sound is the reason for the bizarre sound, Magner had a switch i believe to turn on the quads which enabled certain sounds to travel through speakers in different patterns to show-off the sound system, it wasn't used too much though in my opinion, i could be wrong. The show blew my mind none the less. I was in the orchestra 102 section( dead center)about 8 rows back from the pit and the quadrophonic sound system was amazing each time i picked up on it. 2-channel sound doesn't give the show justice, sound wise, but understandable.

Subject: See Me, Feel Me
The last song of The Who's Tommy LP is "We're Not Going to Take It," a seven-minutes song that includes the "See Me Feel Me" coda. Whenever The Who have played just the coda live, they title it "See Me Feel Me," so the title listed is correct. Cross-reference The Who setlists to compare: http://www.thewho.net/concertguide/

Subject: One more thing....
I think this show is mistracked(sorry Rich). I think the track from Tommy that they played is actually "We're Not Gonna Take It" not "See Me, Feel Me". I went to the musical and I remember See Me Feel Me being at the beginning. Just thought I'd point that out.
But while the show is awesome, the sound on this two piece recording isn't very good at all. Shifts from channel to channel and all.

Subject: Out of this world
Alright so this show was definlaty kick ass, but the sound was a little bizzar..I had seats in the 200 section right behind the back monitors, the delay & echo effects definatly didnt sound the best, made it sound alittle of. Over all the show is sick though. This show definalty tops most other biscuits shows. Definlty a must have!! Cant wait for the nugs.com soundboard release!!
Sound quality for this recording is exceptional! Very clear sound, but still am gonna wait fot the soundboard...hopefully in the next few days!

Subject: About the sound
Its pretty unique and good, I wonder how it was in suround. The effects and delays are interesting, occasionally being brilliant. The sound at times was odd for sure but thats cause it was a crazy task! Overall the operation was a success with demonic envelopment.
And they are jamming pretty dark-electronic from the start. Cool new years with the addition of dope djs too.

Subject: Oh Man
their are people out there who have critcize reviews i have posted about the biscuits. to tell you the truth i dont really care what other people have to say about the shows. some people think they kno alot about the band well good for them. ive seen them 7 or 8 times now and every time it is better. i dont care about the setlists i care about the experience i have. Camp V was the greatest thing ever. but i think that this NYE topped those sets. this tweeter show was out of this world. not only was it some of the best biscuits i have ever seen but the UK's leading psytrance DJ was there raging it harden then anyone else. i had the greatest time spending this night with about 25 of my friends. i dont even kno how to explain what i experienced but if you are at a loss for words for this show you kno exactly how i was feeling. thats all i can say other than it blew my mind.
