These shows were only annouced 72 hours in advance with free tickets by lottery.
As a "planner" I usually know about my shows several months in advance. I got word of my attendance at this show only 24 hours in advance. I know now why I plan ahead. I had to arrange for time off from work, transportation to New York from Northampton, PA, find a place to stay....etc,
I had a smile on during this entire show. I was near the back, yet closer then I've been for 95% of my shows. And nobody was trying to steal my seat.
Great to see an accoustic Dead show (although only Phil, Bob, and Warren) in an old synagogue.
It was 5:00PM when the show started, right in the middle of a New York City afternoon rush hour. This place was a world away....

I am so glad that the Dead are continuing to allow taping... sad to admit i wasn't sure if we would have to get the D/Ls on the site. As i have just been laid-off this is the BEST. Thanks to the tapers in advance and of course to The Dead!!!
