Desire in eyes of B movie
Primo movie for social styles of the 40s (marital and relational styles don't seem to have changed much.) The acting leaves the actors with much to aspire for, although the leading lady finds her fire from within in the later scenes. Stereotypes? You bet, from socialite to displaced hillbilly. A weapon of individual mass destruction also appears, with an ease that should astound. In my eyes this movie is so bad it's a tonic for the better.

Not all that desirable
If you'd paid a cover charge to a club to see this act you'd want you money back.
Was the name of that club, "Club Cafe"?
I didn't see anything worth while in the whole movie. It's so bad it's not even funny campy bad, just bad, real bad.
