Subject: BEST DAVID GRAY SHOW (I've Seen out of 5)
my second time to see him at the fox in 2 years and I was blown away. The way David controlled that theatre was beyond us all and the SOUND in that place(!) he just pierced right through you.there are points where the sound gets bass heavy ("Freedom" and a beat up "The Other Side") and the booms occur, as pointed out by the taper. but the overall sound quality is as good as any other boots from this tour and you get a little bit of that amazing echo the Fox has. the crowd was quite responsive and is evident in the inbetween applauses. highly energetic and religious experience. the hidden treat is at the end of "Lately," he starts singing a verse from "Mr. Tambourine Man"(worth the boot alone) and I can hear myself screaming (but don't worry, I was way back behind him). if you're a big DG fan, this is a must.
Bass filter was not functioning so recording was bass heavy, worked a little bit with some software filters but I dont really know what I'm doing :) Sounds alright now except for The Other Side which was VERY heavy. Enjoy the show but don't hold very high expectations.
