Henry Flower[dlnet010] - Henry Flower - Non Resurgam (2004)

Henry Flower, also known as Henry Clarke creates his pieces by improvising guitar lines through various effects boxes, then processing them with sine waves and found sounds. The results are very moving. Mixed just right, duelling, plucked guitars battle it out to be heard in between shifting frequencies of hypnotic bass pulses. Very calming material.

Watch for much more from this new artist.

this is inanely beautiful. The ambiences and melodies carry you away so easily and effortlessly. Almost like musical wind. VERY inspiring stuff. Can't wait to hear more Henry Flower !

Subject: Sweet shadows
Cohesive, superficially gentle and sweet but with enough subtle shadows to keep my interest. I can imagine hearing this music in my head immediately before my sudden demise. Great for massage therapy or studying.

Subject: Shimmery
The tranquil, effected strumming does have a soothing effect. This would be a good album to play at bedtime. Looking forward to more releases by this artist.
