Rafael Flores[dlnet021] - Rafael Flores - Saint Lazaro Street Tapes Volumen 1 (2004)

This is one of the most unique artists weve come across in a while due to the fact it is impossible to classify his sound. Rafael Floress sounds do not run smoothly. Utilizing field recordings, old jazz records & god knows what else? They are broken, twisted & mysterious. What do you think?

another great work of musique concrete with the legendary composer rafael flores (aka comando bruno) active since the years of original european industrial music: dense, intense but with a little touch of humour. listen also his nice album "intrigue" with mystified in webbed hand records.

a very interesting recording for all those who like the sound works without prejuice. tropical mist.

An incredible set of pieces. Dark, mysterious-- full of drones, strange spaces that open up and shift-- film noir comes to mind, as do cityscapes at night-- recommended!

Hm. Weird stuff. And not so much for me. But listen to Euro 6 Bartlett anyway.
