Subject: good band show
what a talent david mead is, voice like an angel and songs to match, moving away from his pure pop origins towards a more country tinged sound with his brillint last album. The quality is good and the performance more so. Great to see the legendary producer Brad Jones in the band for this show. check out his only album Giltflake for more pop heaven
DM (vocals, acoustic guitar, keyboards)
David Henry (cello, mandolin etc)
Brad Jones (upright bass)
Jason Lehning (keyboards)
Marc Pisapia (drums)
Show Notes: Band show; recorded from the middle left side of the floor. This show sounds quite a bit better than the one taped earlier that night. Indiana had just been completed (although it was not to be released for another five months) so the album is performed in its entirety, including the B-side "Chutes And Ladders". David calls his mother to the stage for a cover of "Crazy". "Human Nature" is performed with the full band, as opposed to the early show where David played it with Jason Lehning. Lots of hilarious between-song banter during this show - David and band are in a fine joking mood.
Soundwise, I left the EQ alone; only performed a bit of hard limiting in CoolEdit due to low levels.
This show will be featured on the mineandyours.com Live Show Database where it will be updates with any new info as it becomes available: http://www.mineandyours.com/livedatabase/2003-11-28show2.htm
