Show Notes: Solo show; mic placed about two feet from David, who played without amplification.
David's first house concert, staged by Linda and Bob Utter. The show is played in two sets ("Indiana" starts the second set). David played acoustic 12-string for the whole show.
Tonight's highlights - the first known performance of "The Trouble With Henry"; "Cuba" and "Flamin' Angel" played for the first time since 2002-2003; J. Oscar Bittinger leads the crowd in singing Happy Birthday to David; a bit of "Daydream Believer" is played while I am changing tapes in the videocamera. All in all a very well rounded set where each album is represented with every group of four songs (intentional) - until the requests start with "Bucket Of Girls" (played on guitar as opposed to piano, as is "How Much").
Soundwise, I left the EQ alone; only performed a bit of hard limiting in CoolEdit due to low levels.
IMPORTANT NOTE - "The Trouble With Henry" and "Cuba" have been omitted from this upload at David's request. The show can be uploaded in its complete form once those tracks are released. Until then, I've left the chatter that preceded them as placeholders (tracks 27-28).
