Subject: Riveting
Heard this on the radio last night - best thing I've tuned into in a long time. Moyers is articulate, focused, and has something vital to say, even if we're reluctant to hear it.

Subject: Must Listening for All Who Hold Freedom Too Precious To Preserve with a Bodyguard of Lies
Possibly one of the most important speeches ever given on the subject of freedom. Bill Moyers eloquently details what erodes freedom and provides an expose of the attempts, from the earliest points in our history to the currrent administration, to initiate and facilitate that erosion. He also provides serious insight on the fundamental protections for real democracy, emphasizing the importance of free speech and eternal vigilance as well as the signal importance of a free and truthful press at the leading edge of those vital functions. This speech is vital listening for anybody who treasures democracy and a government by the people, of the people, for the people. It is a clarion call to the citizenry that one could only wish had been heard clearly before the last election.
