Subject: Chomsky Lecture -
news headlines are followed by a long excerpt of Noam Chomsky's recent lecture in New Mexico, which fills the remainder of the show.

The lecture focuses on the Bush Administration's policies regarding weapons of mass destruction and the militarization of space. Chomsky quotes a 'respectable' association of scientists who make the unusual claim that this administrations policies are likely to lead to the "ultimate doom." The lecture reflects this mood as Chomsky delivers in a notably grim and resigned manner.

Not light listening, but rewarding in its honesty.
