Subject: Really great funky sounds!
I was the taper, and I was floored at this free radio show. It was on the water on top of a cruise boat circling around san diego bay at sunset on a beautiful day. The band was super tight and right on. I haden't seen Donavon play in a year or so, and every time I see him the sound has evolved. be it new band members, new directions, it's always a good thing though! Many big thanks to the new Tour manager / FOH to let me plug in and get a soundboard of the show. Mic's just wouldn't have worked as good on a windy cruise ship! :) the band did a few old songs as well as a good number of new songs from the new album that is coming out on June 6, 2006. Make sure to pick up the new album and in the meantime groove to this great recording of the band and about 200 people just having a great time. Isn't that what life is all about? Just enjoying good music and good friends in good places.
This is a free show that the radio station in san diego, 102.1FM KPRI puts on. The band was set up at the top deck of a small cruise ship that circled around the san diego bay at sunset.
