Subject: Last part film = Nizza
You can easily locate the area with some details in the last part of the film. At a certain moment you notice a hotel named " Negresco". This is a well known hotel on the famous "Promenade des Anglais" in Nizza. The vehicle on which you could read "Phoceens cars Nice" belonged to a company proposing a sight-seeing tour on the french riviera. You can also see the palace and the exotic garden of Monaco.

The film starts in front of a gate from Kloster Eberbach, in Kiedrich, Germany in the centre of the Rheingau. A very romantic part of Germany.

The most traditional hotel in Germany, the Schwarzer Bock Hotel in Wiesbaden was founded in 1486

The ship pictured in this section (8:20) looks to be one of the following class destroyers: Town (UK), Clemson (US), or Wickes (US). Because this appears to be a 30's film, I suspect this is probably a Clemson or Wickes. While this doesn't mean a lot, the presence in this piece could have had something to do with the upholding of the Versailles treaty. If so, this would have created tensions and thus this might cause one to draw a conclusion that this piece is from the mid to later thirties, after Germany had begun rebuilding its 'defensive' forces.

i have identified the most places in this film.
the departure is in germany from st.goarshausen its a village near the famous loreley.
at 3:34 you can see the hotel "schwarzer bock" in Wiesbaden:

at 5:57 there is a written sign on the bus, "phoceens-cabs" or something. Under that its written "nice" nice its the french word for Nizza.
so i think they are traveling first to nizza, and then with the bus to a place where they able to ski. there are many possible places near nizza.

9:13 is also very interesting it shows Monaco Grimadi Palace in monte Carlo:

The ending of the movie is maybe the famous carneval in Nizza, but im not sure about that

Looks like scenes from a vacation trip around various places in Europe. Germany? skiing in the Alps? Spain?
