Subject: just plain fun

i am still amazed with this band. gd music deserves this reverence.

walked right up to the stage as the opening notes of jack straw rolled- not many people there- turned around at the end of the song- the whole pier was filled and rocking-

this is a good recording of a very nice FREE show with an original setlist- the shakedown was grreat- and the west la appropriate- this band can bring what the current dead can't. the jerry factor- no you can not replace the master- but u sure can try!!!

thanks for the feed

Notes

Performing an original setlist

Free outdoor show

Note: the band's CD burner had some glitches in the first set resulting in a cut from the end of the solo in West LA Fadeaway to the first Fare Thee Well verse of Cassidy. I patched these using original setlist performances of the songs. On Fadeaway the splice occurs just before the last verse but I had to omit the seldom-sung extra verse that John sang that night.

Fadeaway patch from 7-31-02 Bell's Brewery
Cassidy patch from 3-8-03 McDonald Theater
